About Sean Bowen

Sean Bowen has been exhibiting his paintings in New York City and New England for the last forty-years, including over 40 one-man and group shows. His work has also been featured in hotels, stage design, and on album covers.

 

His work possesses a vivid style and figurative quality that creates expression through mood, color, and image. Bowen primarily works in acrylic or oil stick, but it is not unusual for him to incorporate a mixed media approach. In recent years, he has been experimenting with new styles and techniques to keep his work fresh visually as well as emotionally.
